Scott Nelson
Position: President & CEO

Scott Nelson, President & CEO, has over 25 years experience building successful organizations and fostering growth in resource based, capital intensive industries. Mr. Nelson began his career in Eastern Canada with large industrial resource firms including The Irving Group, Canadian Keyes Fiber and Boise Cascade in financial and project management roles. In 1980, he joined the oil and gas sector in Western Canada advancing to hold senior management positions with Dome Petroleum, Amoco Canada and Amerada Hess. As President, he led the rapid growth of Amerada Hess Canada, the tripling of production and eventual sale of the Company to Petro Canada. Mr. Nelson served as an advisor and Chairman of Eurosov Energy PLC, a London listed energy group. Following the sale of Eurosov to a UK independent, Mr. Nelson completed a series of consulting assignments with large North American Utilities. He was then recruited by PriceWaterhouse (PWCC) where he served as Project Executive for large energy clients, joining IBM in 2002 upon the acquisition of PWCC. Mr. Nelson joined Titanium Corporation's management team in February 2005.

 
Malcolm Macpherson
Position: Director

Malcolm Macpherson, Director, has extensive experience in the mining and energy industries at operational and executive levels. He was Managing Director & CEO of Iluka Resources Ltd., the world's largest producer of alluvial titanium minerals and zircon, until 2002, and lead Iluka through two decades of expansion in Australia and the United States. Mr. Macpherson has played an influential role in the Australian mining industry, serving as Senior Vice-President of the Minerals Council in 2000 and as President of the Chamber of Minerals and Energy (WA) from 1990-1994. He also served as Chairman of Western Power Corporation, the Western Australian government owned power utility. Mr. Macpherson is currently a director of Minara Resources Limited, a nickel producer, and Pluton Resources Limited, an iron ore exploration company.

 
Eric W. Slavens
Position: Chairman of the Audit Committee

Eric W. Slavens, Chairman of the Audit Committee, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, was a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for 30 years and most recently the National Leader, IPO Services. He retired from the partnership on June 30, 2005 to act as an independent director and business consultant. He is a graduate of the Directors' Education Program, co-sponsored by the Rotman School of Management and the Institute of Corporate Directors. Mr. Slavens also serves as a member of the board of directors of Altus Group Income Fund and TransGlobe Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust.

 
C. Bruce Burton
Position: Director

Bruce Burton, Director, received an honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Business Administration from York University. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience as a senior financial executive primarily in the natural resources sector. He was Vice President, Finance of the Camflo Group of companies, which were involved in gold and coal mining as well as the oil and gas and geothermal businesses. Following a brief period with a private real estate development company, Mr. Burton joined the Rayrock group as VP Finance and Director. Rayrock Group was involved in gold, copper, and fertilizer mining as well as oil and gas. Between 1999 and 2001 he was President of BlackRock Ventures Inc., a heavy oil company which he refinanced following the hiring of an experienced operating management team. Between 2003 and 2007, Mr. Burton was VP and Chief Financial Officer of Dundee Precious Metals Inc.

 
Brant G. Sangster
Position: Director

Brant G. Sangster, Director, has extensive experience in Canada's energy industry. He had a distinguished 25-year career with Petro-Canada - one of Canada's largest oil and gas companies. In his most recent role as Senior Vice-President for Petro-Canada, Mr. Sangster was responsible for the company's oil sands production and development as well as Petro-Canada's participation in Syncrude. He was also a member of Petro-Canada's Executive Leadership Team, accountable for the effective integration of the planning and execution of oil sands business objectives with overall strategies and activities of the corporation.

Mr. Sangster joined Petro-Canada in 1981 as Director of Downstream Development. From 1983 to 1988, he held a variety of management positions in business services, marketing and corporate development. In 1988, he was appointed Vice-President, Business Analysis in the Resource Division. From 1989 to 1991, he was Vice-President, Corporate Development, and in 1991 he was appointed Vice-President, Central Region. He became Vice-President, Logistics and Integration in 1997, with responsibility for supply, refining and business integration, and Vice-President, Marketing (Upstream) in 1998. Mr. Sangster is currently a director of Canadian Oil Sands Ltd.

Prior to joining Petro-Canada, Mr. Sangster held various strategic planning and operating positions with Imperial Oil from 1968 to 1981. Mr. Sangster graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.

 
Gordon Pridham
Position: Chairman

Gordon Pridham, Chairman, is an experienced executive with more than 25 years experience in investment banking, capital markets and corporate banking. He has financed and advised companies in public and private markets across a broad range of industries including the energy and natural resources sectors. Mr. Pridham held positions with Chemical Bank and National Bank in New York, Calgary Toronto and Hong Kong and also led the Investment Banking groups at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, Research Capital and Raymond James. He is President and CEO of Edgewater Capital Inc., and Chairman of Monarch Wealth Management. Mr. Pridham is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors and currently also serves as a director of Newalta Income Fund, Canada's leading industrial waste management and environmental services company focused on maximizing the value inherent in oilfield and industrial waste through the recovery of saleable products and recycling. Mr. Pridham is a director of Western Prospector Group Ltd. and the Executive Chairman of U.S. Silver Corporation. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto.

 
Moss Kadey
Position: Director

Moss Kadey, Director, has over thirty years experience as a successful entrepreneur active in businesses as an executive, founder and shareholder. From 1995 to 2000 Mr. Kadey financed, built and ran a New York based hair product company which was subsequently sold to Estee Lauder. Between 1987 and 1995 he founded and built Brita International Holdings Inc., which had the North and South American rights to manufacture and distribute household water filtration products, and which was sold to Clorox Inc. in 1995. From 1977 to 1987 he was Vice President, Finance and Operations of Giftcraft Limited, a leading Canadian importer and distributor of gifts and novelties. Mr. Kadey is currently the President and CEO of Mossco Capital Inc., a private venture capital and real estate investment company. He also serves as a director of Brita GmbH, a private international company based out of Germany which manufactures water filtration products for household and professional applications.

 
David C.W. Macdonald
Position: Director

David Macdonald is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Glencoban Capital Management Inc. ("Glencoban"), a private merchant banking firm founded in 2002. Glencoban invests in development stage public and private companies, mainly in the energy, alternative energy and mining sectors. From 1989 to 2002, Mr. Macdonald worked as an investment banker at UBS Bunting Warburg Inc., serving as Joint Managing Director of the firm from 1994 to 2002. From 1983 to 1989, Mr. Macdonald worked in London, England with S.G. Warburg & Co. Ltd.
He is currently the chair of the National Ballet of Canada, Endowment Foundation and a director of the National Ballet of Canada. He is also a director of the Art Gallery of Ontario Foundation and a past director of the Art Gallery of Ontario.
